time. REALITY!
"Moments In
Reality" developed
out of a means of the artist airing her feelings after the events of 9/11. This is a
profound series of four original oil paintings which capture "real life" moments
from the events of September 11 and since. "OMINOUS", "FATHER TIME",
"A TOUCH OF TRADITION" and "THE PRICE WE PAY" cumulatively make up the
"MOMENTS IN REALITY SERIES". "Moments" combines certain visuals with
thought provoking portrayals of our world; past, present & future. It conveys
indisputable certainties while at the same time presenting many perplexing questions.
MOMENTS IN REALITY is meant to serve both as a warning to the
"reality" of our "times" and as a tribute to our firefighters, police
officers, EMT's and military men and women. The fire fighters of our country have lead the
way to a renewed awakening of our nation. Our Police & Military forces have fought for
& protected us! These paintings celebrate the shared patriotic spirit of the American
people. They show that the hope of tomorrow is based upon the values of our forefathers.
That patriotism is as strong today as when our ancestors and son's & daughters paid
the price for our freedom!
It is the hope of the artist that the visually stimulating images in Moments will help
continue spreading this American Spirit! As you view these paintings, you will better
understand our American heritage and tradition! Just maybe, you will feel proud to be an
